We devised Direct3D that leverages statistical data to fold proteins.

A fundamental question in biophysics is how an amino acid sequence folds into an unique shape that is relevant to many biological activities. The relationship between the sequence and its shape represents a key connection of biological organization, and the complete and direct mapping of the primary sequence to its distinctive structure has been emerged as a central goal in the system biology.
